The continuing
story of Mad Pierre...
Long ago, Mad Pierre lived in Paris. He was simply known
as Pierre then, and he lived a life of happy luxury, surrounded
by beautiful things.
Yet Pierre felt restless. Deep inside, he knew something
was missing. Day after day he looked for things to fill
the void inside, but to no avail. Bowling trophies, engraved
brass, ordinary wine bottles - nothing made him feel truly
complete.
Then one day, Pierre was surfing the web when he happened
across www.KassGlass.com . Something within him stirred.
He clicked on link after link, getting more excited with
every picture. Finally , when he could stand it no longer,
he leapt into the air shouting "Kass Glass! Kass Glass!
I must have zee Kass Glass!" He quickly booked passage
to New Jersey and by that evening he was on an airplane
bound for Newark. The closer he got, the faster his little
amphibian heart beat, He could hardly wait to see all the
glorious crystal and glass with his own eyes.
Hours later, a yellow cab pulled up outside Kass Glassworks.
Pierre jumped out and hurtled toward the door ... but alas,
it was only 6 AM and Kass Glassworks was not yet open. Pierre
hopped up and down impatiently until he heard the glorious
sound of a key in the lock.
The door swung open and he was greeted by a smiling gentlemen
who introduced himself as Mr. Kass. The Kass of Kass Glassworks!
Pierre was impressed, but still beyond eager to see all
the beautiful glass.
He hopped inside and stopped, spellbound. All around him
twinkled crystal and glass. Every size, every shape imaginable
was spread out before him like a buffet for his senses.
Pierre hopped into a wine glass. Beautiful! He hopped into
a champagne flute. Exquisite! He hopped into a crystal vase.
Breathtaking! He hopped into a glass jewelry box. Stunning!
But alas, poor Pierre could not decide which piece he liked
best. They were all so wonderful, they were all what he'd
been searching for all these years. He was simply mad with
joy.
So today, Mad Pierre lives at Kass Glassworks, happily
jumping from piece to piece knowing that he'll never decide
which is his favorite - and that's just fine with him.
